Since today just happens to be a New Moon, the beginning of a new cycle, I thought this Blog would be appropriate. Every year I talk about moon gardening and this year I’m actually moon gardening; albeit by accident, thanks to this unpredictable crazy weather.
Moon gardening is planting alongside the lunar cycle. There’s so much information out there to boggle the mind, so common sense has to play a role in your final judgement.

Obviously, a successful garden requires the right soil conditions, the right amount of fresh water, and a whole lot of patience. And don’t let this early summer-like weather rush you to get everything in the ground now. Our first year growing didn’t happen until June and that was one of our best years’ harvest.
